Party of Six – Twin Maternity Session

Maternity photography session with pink umbrellaIf you saw the preview of this session on Facebook, you already know that I happen to think Rebecca is one of the most beautiful pregnant ladies I have ever seen! I was truly amazed by her glow and at the love that she and Jeff have for each other and their girls. Add to that the fact that Rebecca specifically asked if she could include their dogs Connor and Annie in their maternity session and you have a perfect recipe for one of my favorite photography sessions ever! I had such a great time working with all six of you. I especially enjoyed watching the flowers on your dress bounce around every time one of the girls was kicking :) I can’t wait to meet the girls in just a few weeks!!

Baby Madden – Brevard Newborn Photographer

Welcome Madden – my first newborn photography session of 2012!!  I first met Madden during his mama’s maternity session in January and just a few weeks later he made his arrival!! We got off to a bit of a rocky start but with lots of cuddles and feeding breaks we were able to get some beautiful photographs of this handsome little man.

I love that we were able to incorporate his newsboy hat into this photography session since his mama is holding it in one of her maternity photos!

Minimum Wake – Brevard Entertainment Photography Session

Ordinarily, I get to photograph beautiful babies, moms to be, children and families. However, I recently had the opportunity to do something a little different – a photo session for a local band,  and have to admit that it was a nice change! Don’t worry though, I’m not planning on changing gears and will still be doing what I love to do most :)

The subjects: Minimum Wake (Mike Runion, Peter Wells & Art Edwards)

The location: An overgrown lot with remnants of a building foundation and various other oddities

The results – see for yourself!

Oh, and you must see these guys live – I HIGHLY recommend it! Until then, you can visit them on the  web to get a sampling of their music (BTW, their site was made by my super awesome film-making husband )
